Forever couldn’t be kept waiting. And to not pursue their love for each other was the greatest risk of all.
Welcome to my site!
I’m Daniel, a fiction writer of inspirational romance stories offering hope, healing, and a restoration of faith. A resident of Louisiana, I enjoy seafood boils with the family, sunsets, and browsing antique shops when given the chance. Trips to the mountains with roadside pull-offs next to streams are an all-time favorite, and I’m a lover of happily-ever-after rom-coms. Between my wife and I, we have five grown children, and at the time of this writing three grandchildren with another on the way. In all of these things we count our blessings.
My debut novel “How Long is Forever” introduces characters facing real life issues many of us face today. Whether the battle is a physical ailment, overcoming fear, unforgiveness, or the undercurrent of regret that runs silent, deep, and unspoken, the struggle to overcome is real. But so is a God that hears our prayers. You’ll find in this novel a convergence of destinies where true love is found, brokenness is made whole, and a faith in forever is embraced.
With a balance of humor, the small town of Fleetwood Falls and its unique characters will not soon be forgotten, especially for me. Though fictional, weaved into the story is a hint of my real-life battle with stage 4 lymphoma, and have no doubt God is still in the miracle working business today. I pray this story is as much of a blessing to you as it has been in writing it.
Thanks for visiting my site and ask that you’d consider signing up for my newsletter. A place where I’ll share an occasional message, devotional, or my next novel in the works. And of course, I’d like to hear from you. Until then, may God bless and keep you.
About Daniel
Fleetwood Falls - A place where all is not lost - faith is found - and true love finds a home.
Forever couldn’t be kept waiting. And to not pursue their love for each another was the greatest risk of all.
Successful author Mason Chadwick believes a fear even greater than that of dying is to never have found true love. He’d know, having nothing but time to think on the things that mattered most in life since his recent diagnosis. But will his return to Fleetwood Falls be a reminder dangled before him, rehashing a lifetime of regret? Or will it prove to be the place that holds the one person he believes can set him free?
As for Chloe Morgan, the lingering grief over her father’s passing only reinforces her fear of commitment. And despite Mason’s swoon-worthy niceness and baby blues, the threat of losing the land and cabin her family has held for generations feels like more than she can handle. Then again, Mason is more than than she could have asked and prayed for. Until. . . the discovery of Mason’s secret. And then a finding of her own to follow.
A story of two hearts intertwined, possessing life-altering secrets that take them beyond mere chance or coincidence. Free will and destiny are in the balance. Risk is a given, but so is a forever of unconditional love.
